“‘I’m sinking down, as they’re sinking in…’

House of Grief is the first single and title track of my new solo album. This album has existed in its entirety for some time now, it was going to come out several times, go by other names, be independently released, be signed. It has been struggled and fought over, it has caused such stress and heartache.

Art is a strange thing. In its truest and most sincere form it has a will and life of its own. It compels its maker, controls and consumes them. It agonizes them, punishes them, and if it can be tamed, exaltes them.

She was going to be known by other names, but we decided she should just be known by mine. She is an amazing gift, an ongoing vibration of the love story that I share with my incredible husband Dobber. He makes the world a glorious place to be and fills my life with music and inspiration. I am obsessed with everything he creates and feel charmed beyond belief that he creates so much for me.
