Visions of Atlantis have just released their latest music video, this time for the catchy song “Clocks” from their latest release “Pirates”, which took the world by storm on May 13th, 2022 via Napalm Records.
“Clocks”, an up-beat, crowd favorite with catchy lyrics, great melodic hooks and lots of symphonic metal soundscapes, this track was an easy choice for their latest video.
The band has said of their latest album that it is about being the most honest version of themselves, and “Clocks” takes no exception. It’s about the never-ending passing of time, and that we need to live for the moment as our true selves, without fear or worry about others’ opinions of us. The chorus suns it up best! “Time as you know, let it go with the flow. Make a golden play out of every day, as the tick-tick-tock from the clock is never-ending”.
This video shows a portrayal of what life like a pirate could be like, and the band clearly enjoyed filming this one!
Clementine has said about the video ”We are so excited to be able to release a video for ”Clocks” as we love this song and we noticed that it quickly became one of our fans’ favorites as well! We could tell from the crowd’s response every time we started to play this song live last year! So here is a fun portrait of what enjoying life as a pirate can be about, remembering the clock is ticking… Let’s all make a golden play out of 2023!”
Michele has also said “We couldn’t have a better way to celebrate this new video release than with a tour announcement! Our 2023 won’t only start with our first headlining US tour, that will see ‘The Spider Accomplice’ as special guests, but we’re also announcing another European round in cities we couldn’t reach during the previous run! Autumn Bride will join us for this new adventure…and believe it or not, more news will follow!”
