Genre-defying progressive/southern goth metal giants Oceans of Slumber have officially signed with Season of Mist ahead of their upcoming album.
Oceans of Slumber had released their last masterpiece “Starlight and Ash” last July, which saw one of the band’s deepest and most raw albums to date. Released as a profound statement, this album marked a turning point for the band, delving into their deepest emotions and showcasing a raw honesty that resonated deeply with listeners. With a rich combination of melancholic melodies, powerful vocals, and intricate instrumentation, “Starlight and Ash” stood out as a testament to Oceans of Slumber’s growth and willingness to explore the depths of their creativity.
Teasing their upcoming release, which no date has been announced as of yet, the band has said that it will be their “most vicious and jaw-dropping record yet!”

Beverly is also the drummer for black metal band Necrofier (who are also signed to Season of Mist) and was behind the kit for grindcore legends Insect Warfare. “This signing is our gateway to fully embracing the raw, heavier direction we’ve been forging lately. With the collective strength of Season of Mist behind us, we are determined to take our music to the next level.”
