New Jersey’s symphonic/power metal powerhouse, Everdawn, is on the brink of releasing “Venera” on December 8 via Frontiers Music, marking not only the eagerly awaited follow-up to 2021’s “Cleopatra,” but also the band’s inaugural release on their new label, Frontiers Music!
Originally formed as Midnight Eternal in March 2014, Everdawn’s founding members include Boris Zaks, Richard Fischer, Dan Prestup, and Mike LePond. Following their debut album, changes in the lineup brought the remarkable voice of Russian-born Canadian singer Alina Gavrilenko, prompting a rebranding to Everdawn, symbolizing a fresh start.
Their second album, “Cleopatra,” released on March 5th, 2021, showcased a melodic evolution, featuring Alina’s energetic vocal approach. The band embarked on a sold-out European tour with Michael Schenker after the album’s release.
With Alan D’Angelo replacing LePond, the band recorded “Venera” in 2022 at Hansen Studios, known for its work with Volbeat and Amaranthe.
Led by the captivating vocals of Alina Gavrilenko, the band’s lineup includes Richard Fischer on guitars, Alan D’Angelo on bass, Dan Prestup on drums, and Boris Zaks on keyboards.

For those still engaged around the 9:26 mark, an intriguing instrumental segment unfolds, which while welcomed, perhaps has room for slight brevity.
