Celebrating Three Decades of Impact

Kittie’s “Legacy Of Fire Tour” arrives amidst their most successful period in over a decade. Since returning from hiatus in 2022, the band has reestablished themselves as a metal powerhouse. Their 2024 comeback album Fire soared to #13 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums chart and earned a 2025 Juno Award nomination for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year. The following year, they commemorated the 25th anniversary of their groundbreaking debut with Spit XXV, a re-imagined and re-recorded EP that proved the original album’s enduring relevance—Rolling Stone even ranked the title track #82 on their “100 Greatest Heavy Metal Songs of All Time.”

With 843,000 monthly Spotify listeners and standout festival performances at Sick New World, Welcome to Rockville, Sonic Temple, Louder Than Life, Shiprocked, and Aftershock, Kittie continues to draw fans old and new. Social media buzz and live stage dominance confirm that their fire isn’t nostalgia—it’s an unstoppable force that refuses to fade.

The Legacy of Kittie

Formed in 1996, Kittie transformed from four teenagers in Canada into international heavyweights with their 1999 debut Spit, which went gold and proved that all-female metal bands could command both critical and commercial respect in a male-dominated genre. Over the years, albums such as Oracle (2001), In The Black (2009), and I’ve Failed You (2011) cemented their status as metal icons. After a long hiatus, Kittie returned to live performance in 2022 and has continued to prove their relevance with new material, festival dominance, and unwavering passion.

Vocalist/guitarist Morgan Lander, drummer/backing vocalist Mercedes Lander, guitarist Tara McLeod, and bassist Ivy Vujic maintain that the band never truly broke up—it’s always been embedded in their DNA. The “Legacy Of Fire Tour” is more than a celebration—it’s a testament to Kittie’s indelible mark on heavy music as innovators, trailblazers, and torchbearers. Fans can expect a setlist spanning huge hits, deep cuts, and everything in between, powered by the added fury of Kingdom of Giants and Gore.

Kittie Lineup:

Morgan Lander – Vocals/Guitar

Mercedes Lander – Drums/Backing Vocals

Tara McLeod – Guitar

Ivy Vujic – Bass

Kittie’s “Legacy of Fire Tour” promises three decades of fire, fury, and ferocious music—proof that metal refuses to age.
